Hey,

Right now I have a brand new 06 Faith 2, I have the option of buying a DHX5.0 and a 888RC for it, I would be able to sell my stock parts and make up a large majority of the price (kids in my town dont search around online and find deals so they pay top dollar in person)

How much of an improvement would the DHX give me?

I think the 888 would be a good decision because I am bigger and am a tough rider.

Any opinions on the DHX5.0 and the 888 as good or bad for improving the bike??

thanks

I had a faith and went to an 888, it made a huge difference. One other thing to keep in mind for an upgrade is your rear hub. A lot of the freehubs on the stock hubs were breaking on people.

Of course a 888rc is better than a junior t.
And the DHX the same thing better than a swinger 4way...

its actually got a dhx3.0 on the back as of now, im thinking if i can get some of my old bikes sold i will try to pick up both the 888 and then 5.0, then sell/give the junior t and the 3.0 to my little brother for cheap,

thanks guys,

also, does anyone know if around a 6 inch stearer will be enough for the faith 2? The 888 has flat crowns with a direct mount i believe

I wouldn't bother upgrading to a DHX 5 over the 3. Not a big enough improvement to be worth the coin. I'd look into a Roco TST. I'm not super impressed with the DHX 5 that I've got on my BottleRocket right now. I'm picking up a Roco TST as soon as Marz. can get some more on the market in the appropriate size.
