Well, new to me. It's the first time it's been assembled, but all the parts are at least 4-5 years old.

Looks good. What gearing are you running?

32T chainring, 15T cog. For most trails I will switch to an 18T, but I needed to run some errands recently and my messenger bike is back at college.
It's pretty nice except the rear caliper enjoys grinding up on the rotor, making a crazy squeaky noise, and stopping the wheel within 2-3 rotations, no matter how hard I spin it. I've tried everything, but I can't separate their love for one another.

do you have any problems with such a small cog in back w/ the singleator? i've heard that the bigger in the back the better you are off. just feeling out my options, im running a 36/18 right now and was wondering how low i can go (how little bit of chainwrap i can get without the chain skipping)

I've only had it skip once, and that was because of a tight link. That's saying alot, considering the steep climbs we have here in NY, and the torque that 180mm cranks put out.
