Yo all,

My right Juicy 7 brake lever suddenly has the ability to cock itself forward, further pushing the reach further out about 1/2 inch. I am able to grab it and it "pops" back in place with no brake problems (ie loss of fluid/now it's in the correct reach/ability to brake is fine). The front brake does not have the ability to do this...

I'm pretty unfamiliar with Avid brakes, having used Hayes before this. Is this somethign to be concerned about? It only happens if the lever is hit by something or if I manually move it out.

Thanks for any info - Jim

It's normal, you can pop it out to have some place to use an allen key to turn the lever reach adjusting screw and re-pop it in place once adjusted...

Yep, I'd be more worried about your other lever which doesn't do it.

Dial the reach back in on your left lever. If it then feels like poo, mess with the pad contact wheel until it don't no more. If poo is still felt, then you need a bleed.
