I have a Scott Voltage 2 with suntour XCM (100mm of travel) forks. The other day i noticed that paint chipped off the forks (where their greased). What should be done to properly take care of them so their properly greased and whatever else that should be done.

Put the bike upside down, remove the wheel, Release the two bolts in the bottom of lower legs then pull the lowers out of the stanchions.
Clean and re-grease the bussings and seals on lowers.

Then stick the lowers back in, put the two bolts back, tight them properly, install the wheel, lift the bike of the ground and ride
