I have an old road bike that I use as a commuter and it is nearly impossible to ride without hands (I have to lean way over to one side). This bike used to belong to my dad, he took it to a shop years ago to try to figure it out and they said something was misaligned and it was impossible to fix but he doesn't remember what. What could this be? I would love to fix it so I could ride it without hands.
thanks

Take it to a shop. They can check out the alignment with the Frame Alignment guage (FAG-1/2) and dropout alignment tools aswell.

Bent frame, bent fork, or wheels may be dished incorrectly.
