Does anyone have the North Shore Rack? If so, would you recommend it over the Thule T2?

northshore seems like a kool idea, but the T2 is an awesome rack. I went with the T2 myself and have no complaints.

i love my t2 as for the weight limit we regularly sit on mine some times two or three at a time and no problems (not while driving)

there website says 4 bikes - 160 pound total weight limit

http://www.thuleracks.com/thule/product.asp?dept_id=8&sku=916

"Carries bikes up to 60 lbs. (160 lbs. total - 4 Bike / 100lbs. Total - 2 Bike 1-14”)"

weight limits are meaningless. that's why engineers design factors of safety :D

Ive been using the northshore rack on hte GHY Jr team car, its kinda a pain in the arse. Its cool, but to my a sportworks or Thule works easier..but I have never used a four bike sportworks...

Do you think you'll have any wear issues with the fork resting on those arms with the vibration of driving?

This new Saris thing is relatively cheap and says it fits DH knobbies but the manual says 35 lbs max per bike

Guess its only good for super light race bikes or all mountain bikes...

Yea I do, it sits right on the lower crown dealy (scientific term) and the one we are using has been modified a bit to ease up un that. And then the back wheels never line up right and pedals etc.. I swear by my sportworks...normally but this weekend I found out I have a class one hitch and it wont support two bikes :( After a trip to Fall City Or
