figured I'd get this thread going. the course will be much better than the first one on the bridal trail. skibowl is also lift access. even if they run just the bottom half because of snow on top it'll be super fun.

if your racing expert (expert course) you may want to preride on saturday. the course is a bit longer and has a few quirks you are gonna want to get dialed

I'd only go sunday cuz that way my rents can drive me bright and early, let me race...then go home in one day.

This is IF they'll take me. (I dont have my lisence yet...cuz I dont have a 3.0)

P.S. I'd be racing sport. I havent ridden my bike off any drops or jumps in months though...is this a straight trail or are their obbsticles and what not?

the sport course is pretty much just rocky and fast up top and then slower and cornery at the bottom but still fast- just not nearly as fast as top

I'm going down early morning Saturday. I haven't been on "To catch a Predator" yet. Just grab a tent and a sleeping bag. I'm sleeping in my Jeep.

Hood #2 is going to be nice, but Hood #3 is going to ROCK!!! I'm thinking of taking 3 days off and head up Friday and set up a circus.

I just talked to my bro doing the building up there and they have a new trail pretty well one, but they will NOT be running it this race. There are a few changes to the Pro/Ex course, but nothing major. It will look pretty much like last year. The log double will have a straight line into it with another log double before (this is the older course, but the trail is straighter to make both gaps doable).

I won't be postin any pics...I've got a bro in from Reno this weekend so I won't be at Hood. My friend did mention in passing that there was wood berms on Fire hydrate and he is building the stunts on Gnar Gnar for the freeride park. Hood is looking to be sick this year!

You laugh but I just shot a motorcycle club ride and you'd be surprised what some of those guys do when they see a camera. A quarter of them try to wheely, another quarter wave, another quarter try to drift the turns and accelerate really fast, and the other quarter were trying one of the previously mentioned manuevers and crashed.
