$2000 gets you 4 hours of whatever kind of photos you'd like.
Free gets you the smallest lens I can fit in my backpack and still enjoy my bike ride.

depends on your defninition of local. I'm up by everett so it is a bit of a drive for me. maybe if you are there on a saturday. any trails worthy of the big bike that you guys do? or ht>?
