i wrote an answer for you in the family thread, but just saw your question here.
the bb height is... low. not too low, but 165 crank would might help.

if you are shorter, it would work well for it. however, it is a small bike and designed to be a DJ bike.

due to the short travel and shock availibility, you could set it up to pedal very well. however, if you plan on doing a lot of trail riding, look into the preston. it suits trail riding much more, without holding you back to much on the bigger stuff.
