Went for a little street ride at the college here today. It was a fun ride, there isn't anything huge there but I was hitting one of the decent sized stair gaps there and on the first try I landed smooth but when I tried to turn after the gap my bars turned but my bike just kept going. It could have been way worse if everything had come apart upon landing but it seems this happened after I got off the stairs. So anyone got a suspension-corrected QR rigid fork they'll let go for cheap? Rigid only because it'll be cheaper and only temporary. After this summer I'll see what racing money if any is left over and buy a decent fork.

140 pounds... not too smooth as evident by the pics. but it lasted through 3 years of harsh riding and decent sized stuff. but it was free and I needed a fork on my street bike so no complaints there.

That Marz z1 is really nice.
I like the White bros Flow 140 a lot too.
They are about $150 off MSRP at www.gravityworxracing.com right now too

yes and I happen to have one for sale, real cheap, too. shameless plug. I love it and would recommend them to anyone. I am going bigger though, and I need a bigger fork to match the 7.5 rear suspension.

shameless plug. .

That fork would work really well.
Marzzocchi has always been on top of the game in dampening with the Bomber line by using Moto-X tech that's been tried and true.
