I am an idiot.
I just got a 2004 dirt jumper II, and I want to know how to adjust the travel from 6" down to 5". There are shrader valves on the top of both legs.
How do I reduce this travel?

Call Marzocchi and order the springs you desire. If you do a bit of digging on their website archives, you should be able to find the PN you need. edit: just found the link http://www.marzocchi.com/spa/mtb/products/spring.asp?LN=UK&Sito=usa-mtb&Y=2004
I used to have an 04 DJ2 and had lots of people looking for my 110mm springs when I was going to change to 130s so I could use the fork for trails... or so I thought. 04 is the heaviest year of the DJs, and they don't ride well for anything other than what the name implies.
BTW, the schrader valves are for preload/air assist.
Hope that helps,
Chris

oh, you can do it (if your brave) it dosent take that much skill, there is a spacer in side that you move from the positive travel side to the negative side, with the adjustable ones, other ones you can take a spacer and put it on the neg side you can make this out of a one inch piece of pipe, i like to use handle bar ends.

Are you saying dropping the travel down can be done without purchasing new springs?
