I think Beneke won the pro, maybe Van Dine for second? They were stupid fast. The AM field was HUGE. Over a hundred riders for that. Winning AM times were a bit under 3:00. Winning pro time was about 2:43-ish.

anyone who raced towards the end of the AM class lucked out weather wise.... the course was so dry and tacky by then

it was hella slick during the pro race though, and probably for the early AM riders as well

van dine was in 3rd i think, with a crash. knobman was 2nd.

not trying to rain on your parade, but don't get your hopes up. . . the mags already have a lot of photogs. who they like to work with. usually, they know who they will be getting photos from before the event happens. best of luck to you though.
