bike rocks amazingly, whips out way to easy, and loves being in the air, the manual point is right, and i mean right, behind the seat, almost hard to hold onto.

what!? why?
HFX 9's? Are you serious? OK, the clip ring they use(ed) is far too week for the levers, and the washer is a HUGE mistake because of the material they choose to spec.
If you are aware of these issues and you replaces the components, namely the clip-ring and washer, then you have to watch the levers and make sure you have free travel of the actuating arm and the ball (plunger) used to actuate the brakes....
Great concept, but sadly bad follow through. I monstered a pair of mags together, and I have to be honest, I like them far better than any brakes I have ever used....

these nines have replaced washers, so no lever rattle, and the c-clip i have in it is sort of sewn together. no major issues since my own mods, but i dont plan on running these brakes for long.
Actually, after the mods, you should be ok.....It was just a trial and error thing for me.....
