WHAT COULD 11 TANDEM LOADS FULL OF DIRT DO FOR YOU???

Just talked to an old friend Jon Sarver who owns a house in downtown next to a buddy. They've got loads of dirt that will be converted to a pump track this SATURDAY MAY 19th.
They want it to be a community pump track!

Jon wanted me to invite as many as possible to come help dig. He asked that if you've got your own tools bring them. They'll have some, but if you've got your own, do so. He said wheelbarrows might help too.

Butch-
The address is 35 Lakewood dr in Kenilworth. Work starts at 9 am
saturday with donuts and coffee,- beer, lunch (bringe grillables if you
can) etc later on. workday ends 5 or so. pump track designed and
coordinated by Mr. Ben Blitch Bring hand tools and wheel barrows, bobcats etc.
Questions call Jon 552-0166 or Jeff 273-3040. The More hands at work
the sooner we can ride that suckah.

FYI. They are having trouble getting the 2nd Bobcat they needed. Any contractors got one their not using on Sat they'd want to rent out or come run?

JEEZ - with all that dirt you can build a dirt jump pump track.
I have been wanting to do just that, a pump track that is part
pump-part jump. Some rollers berms etc. and some gap jump
lines that you transfer into once speed is built, that you are able
to keep circling a continuous dirt jump loop!!!!
Anybody seen this idea done, surely with pump track's popularity
these days someone has done this- why not do it in Asheville?
You got enough dirt!

If you haven't gone over to see the pump track get over there as soon as you can its pretty sweet!! the first section is finish. It ended up as more of a jump flow course that will run into a pump track with a couple lines to take. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

no sh*$...i am pretty sure that operator had never been in a bobcat before and could use some insperation and technique from a highly skilled person like you. such a scketch-ball, you should have seen it! oh well, at least showed up and helped...

The picture was of raw piles of unpacked dirt bud. I'm pretty sure everybody else got the joke except you. If you're local to Asheville and haven't gotten my sense of humor by now....:crazy:
Oh...and tell Blitch Wolf's gonna have a DH this year but I'm not the one who'll build it so he'll have to hate on someone's else. :cheers:
