Awesome day i did have, i was only able to take a few shots, nothing Spectacular, but first let me say that all the trails and i mean all the trails were all reworked, revamped and well maintained. All we need now is Rain to pack down the dirt and we're set.

The New Trail is Ill! i hit it like 5 times today the first two drops are great, the berms are bananas, and it's a really really fast trail.....

A few Down Sides....

1. At the end of Crap Chute they put some Stairs Logs things at the Chute, when you bunny hop onto the tranny you first see the steps and "oh ****" it's a really really really really rough ride...(but fun) If you go through there really really fast you wont feel it... i saw a few guys bust their asses there...

2. Funniest **** ever... I'm driving up the 515 on my way to Diablo, and they pull me over, i was like "oh **** i thought i was speeding", the lady asks me, do you know why i pulled you over, i said, of course, "No".... she says the bike is blocking your Plates and that's a non moving Violation, so i ask, am i gonna get a ticket for that, she said yes... lol

for real look at this pic... does it look like my plates are blocked.. and there is the ticket... i'm keeping and putting it up on the "wall of Shame"... WTF...

Beware Bikers with hitches installed, the Po-Po is lurking! Looks like the Vernon Township and the Hardyston Township will be lurking this summer harassing all non New Jersey residents with dumb ass sh!t like this...

Overall, i would like to give Props to Shawn and the trail crew for working hard on getting the mountain up to par for riding... it's not their fault that we didn't get any Rain....

sucks about the ticket, i hope u argue it too cuz thats clear bs. if any1 shouldve gotten that ticket it shouldve been me with the 3 bikes on the back blocking the plate haha. awesome day, cant wait to get back up!

awesome shots of the Anthem(?) drop. how does it compare in height to the Road to Nowhere? I know the landing is way out there. what does the run out look like?

First time on tempest, I missed it, walked the bike back up, hit it with about half the required speed, and cased it. About as pillowy-soft a casing as you'll find. PS - if you do hit the tranny, look before you air out that little dirt feature right after it unless you want to become one with the giant boulder that lies ahead. Height-wise, I'd have to say it's closer to the flume drop or the biggest of the progressions than RTN.

Oh yeah... and if you hit up Dom's with enough speed to clear the wooden tranny, beware of the new steps a few seconds ahead. Talk about a surprise.
