I called the two suggested campsites on the Diablo site and both are booked for the weekend of the US Open. Can someone else suggest other camping alternatives or places to stay that aren't too expensive?

wawayanda state park. you take rt 94 into warwick ny, turn onto the warwick turnpike and go up to wawayanda state park. camping is there. diablo is only 10 miles away.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into it and see what they have available.

I called Wawayanda, Stokes, and High Point parks. They are all booked as are most of the hotels around the area. Looks like if you don't already have a reservation you're in trouble.

Do a search on google for hotels in Franklin or Hamburg NJ.

I think there are a few up on Rt 23, not too far away (15 minutes or so)
