Cape Cod Rides

My girlfriend and I were hoping to do some road riding/touring on cape cod over the July1st weekend. I looked into the cape cod rail trail and plan to ride that, are there any other good rides that anyone can reccomend?

Also - we were hoping to camp out at nickerson state park, but the park is all booked (go figure for July 4th weekend). Any other good state parks to camp at?

For Bike paths - try the Cape Cod Canal, and also the Shining Sea path down near Falmouth/Wood Hole.
