Have they gone out of business? I'm trying to locate a new Progressive 5th Element spring for a customer at our shop but no one has any.

If they are out of business, are Manitou, Marzocchi, or Fox springs interchangable?

Thanks

They are no longer producing parts for the bike industry.

Marz and Fox will fit, Man will not.

What shock do you need?

repairing and still tuneing up their shocks right?

Manitou Swinger spring will fit. Manitou bought the right to make the swinger, which is really a late-model 5th element shock (the ones with the modified piston). A Manitou shock-technician should be able to service them.

So before I order one, a Manitou Swinger spring will definitely fit the 5th Element?

Will the 5th Element spring retainers work as well or will Manitou spring retainers also have to be ordered?

I am expecting a Swinger 4-way shock. I also have a 5th Element. I'll let you know if the springs interchange,if you don't get an answer.

Although Sofaking in post #4 said it will work..

Yes it will, I'm currently running a Swinger spring in my 5th element.
Swingers are 2005 model 5th elements painted differently and with a chrome rod.
