Hey,
I'm a dh rider/racer from the pnw (you can find me lurking in that forum quite a bit) and am in the process of figuring out where I'm going to go to college. On the top of my list right now is CU at Boulder. My sister lives there and works at NIST so I have a general idea what the town is like. I was just wondering what the riding situation is around there for people like that who prefer there's with lots of speed and tech decents on top? Is there anything riding distance from campus? and local shops do shuttles? what is the situation with the CU team? any CU rider/students on here?

thanks for the help
cheers

What are you looking to major in? If it's engineering, here's another great option - www.CSMcycling.com. We've got a sweet setup - great funding, tons of races, good riding right out our door (a lot of the CU kids drive to golden to ride), and a pretty chill team. Check us out.

You'll find that there are a lot of collegiate guys on here, I'm sure the CU kids will chime in with regard to their situation. Good luck with the college process!

ill be out there in june checking you guys out right before I go to summer seminar at the USAF academy. I will be doing a guided tour but it would be awesome to hook up with somebody who has similar interests to me (I am planning to go mech engineering). on a completely different note..is cycling going to become an NCAA d1 sport any time soon?

edit: just checked your link...the hook ups with morewood is sweet, good to see you guys getting that recognition.
