Weaverville area DH

Hey all, I am a native of Weaverville, but live in the pacific northwest now. I am wondering if theres any shuttleable riding in the weaverville area. Are any of the roads (forest service etc.) open to driving and are there any decent marked runs that go down weaver balley mountain either east weaver side or the town side??? Any ideas?? I will be down there in a couple weeks, and I need an excuse to take my downhill rig with me!!!

There is the Weaverville DH course and I know people shuttle Shasta. Try one of the local mtb groups up there.

teambigfoot.org i think. thats for humbolt and trinity county. I have not heard anything about shasta. but would like to know more!
