My boy Boonen couldn't come through, but I have to hand it to O'Grady- I've always liked him, but didn't think that he had this big of a win in him. From the reports, it sounds like it was just his day. He hung at the front, went for it and nobody could follow.
Looks like it was a dusty, dry and fast day. There were (as expected) a ton of DNFs. I was looking on Cyclingnews and they had a look over of Boonen's bike. His smallest gear was like a 46-23. That's big. I can hardly imagine how fast these guys are hitting the cobbles.

The thing about this race is that it is totally flat. But there was one corner which looked as sandy as Moab, and those guys were cornering on the cobbles.

Yeah, I know the profile is flat, but it still seems like a big gear to run as a minimum.
I saw that pic earlier. He's got some mad turn on that wheel going. Looks scary.

It is easy to get into big ring madness, particularily when your momentum will never be slowed by gravity.
I wonder if the 46 is for starting after flats or crashes?
