God teh new specialized's look nice
Thanks for the comments, sorry that i am a bit late on them.
the mac. seatpost size is 31.8, unfortunatly that's as far as i can slam it.
plans are to SS it, gears are way too complicated.
i am probably going to rock 28-14.

yeah, I've got a 30.9 (the large sizes are RARE right now) on my Sinister SplinterMX. Sucks how they make the larger sizes with the flare bulge at the top so you can't slam'em, but doesn't matter so much on mine since the rear wheel would bottom on the seat at full compression if I slammed it all the way. But you can always have a machine shop throw it on a lathe to mill it down to the same dia. as the rest, I've seen some people do that.
SS is the way to go, you'll dig it, but 2:1 ratio is on the easy side. you want to aim for around 55 gear inches (front teeth/rear teeth) * wheel size = gear inch.
i've been running SS since 03 :L.
decided to go back to gears this year, but i am SS for life.

nice bike, the shop around here has one but the only thing is that it is a bit heavier that usual.
Well, she is SS now.
swapped back wheels with my dads bike. double track is temporary.
