Anybody watch it? 2nd thru 4th seperated by about 6".
I hope the dude who wrapped himself around the light pole on the second to last descent was alright.

I guess not.
Most badly injured was Andrea Moletta. The 28 year old Italian was in a three man breakaway when he over cooked a corner while descending and hit a wall and a signpost.
The heavy fall saw him break his thigh bone, and his season is probably finished. However the Italian showed grinta and told Team boss Hans-Michael Holczer , "Hans, I will see you in the Vuelta a Espana”

Freire is amazing. He's pretty quiet most of the time but manages to deliver huge wins every now and then.

That was an ugly crash. I thought his right leg didn't look quite right. Hopefully he heals up alright.

I Tivo'd it and watched it last night. That crash was ugly. I think they re air it at 3pm est.
Disco is kicking ass this year as well.

Papo showed some balls. He didn't win but properly followed the AMFA mantra.

Velonews has gotten some questions around whether they made some poor gear selections/setup for the race. I wouldn't doubt it.
