This weekend I somehow managed to snap the quick release brackets which hold the front wheel off on my fox fork. This bums me out since it's my cheap-o xc bike that I picked up for ~$600. Most guys would see this as an excuse to buy a new blingin fork, but since the entire bike was so cheap, it seems silly to pay almost as much for a new fork as the whole bike costs.
Has anyone had any expirence with sending an older fork back to fox to have it repaired? All it would need would be a new set of lowers and it'd be good to go. Is it possible to order such a thing from fox?
