This is not spam but just a question about selling an old Surly 1x1.

I have had this bike for about 9 years now, and I believe it was the 2nd year which they made this bike (which was the 2nd year Surly was in business). But now that I have 6 bikes in my one bedroom apartment, I want to sell it, if nothing at to clear out space.

It has the wear and tear of a 9 year old bike which was ridden almost entirely as an urban commuter. It has decent but inexpensive parts (I did remove the Chris King headset and I will probably snag the Thomson seat post as well). The biggest problem is that does not have disc brake mounts, which I might still want to keep it.

Now the question is could I even get $200 for this bike? Or should I plan on giving it away?

Ebay. I just sold 2 older Olympus cameras that were broken for almost $150.

u could prolly get a good price for it on ebay. singlespeed frames can go for a lot on ebay, especially surly's, and especially if it has track/horizontal drops
