so who's run CAD software out of bootcamp on the Intel core duo macs? any problems concerns or anything else?

Shouldn't be as long as y ou have drivers. You aren't running IN anything. Bootcamp just allows you to partition the drive. You will be running a fuilly native windows system, on windows harware.
