I know im going to be told to do a search but I did and there was nothing related to this specific model. Anyways I was wondering if someone could tell me how to change the oil in my sherman firefly plus. its an 05 im pretty sure.

The manual just talks about disasembly and I heard there was 3 spots where oil was held and i wanted to make sure i got them all.

thank you

ctrailfreaks link ought to help. Remember that the bottom right and left legs take synthetic motor oil for the semi-oil bath and the right top (damper) takes suspension oil. So you need to make sure you have both before rebuilding. You might also want to get a couple of extra o-rings for the bottom fixing bolts. They tend to tear. Your local hardware store will have them for about 0.25 a piece.

Another good link (lots of pictures) http://www.enduroforkseals.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/sherman_flick_web.pdf The flick and the firefly are the same fork basically.

That reminds me, it's time to change the oil on my fork. Thanks...
