I guess some people feel that this is worth doing as a protest but I can't help thinking the effort involved could be of more benefit if spent in another way. If they know it's not gonna happen then it is just a publicity stunt.

I think they just don't want to go down in history as supporters.
People want history to know that there are groups that are not happy at all with the way things are running..... so I guess it's more symbolic than anything.

While I agree it's totally impractical, I think he is more deserving than Slick Willy..... Lying under oath with no physical/material consequence vs lying to the world resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of people all without batting an eye? It would be nice....

whatever. Berkeley and San Francisco both passed resolutions calling for the impeachment of Bush. I don't see anything happening in Congress.
