DW Frustration

I got my new dhx4.0 for my 7point, and I am getting very frustrated and cannot figure out how to get the crappy manitou off of it. So i gave up and I'm coming here for guidance!:clapping:

I got the bottom off. The top is unscrewed but I can't see through the eyelit to the other side. I'm starting to think I have to take the entire link off to take the shock out but the allens wont even budge.

you need to get the thru-pin out. thread a screw into one side almost all the way, then tap out gently. unscrew a little more, then tap out. you will have a long 8mm pin that is holding the shock in. :)
