Anyone doing the XC race this Sunday at Black Diamond/Lk Sawyer? The husband and I plan on racing. It's nice having a race so close to home on fun trails :clapping:

The Project 529 crew (gravity and xc teams) will be racing in the Indie Series (http://www.indieseries.com/schedule.html) event out at Belfair Saturday.

This is the first I've heard of a race out at Black Diamond. Too bad as the trails are great and this would have been a much shorter drive.

I think it's pretty cool.

But, what cracks me up is what the builders of the trails are probably thinking by having a bunch of people who could give a damn about the trail conditions racing on "their" trails....

They will get to clean up the mess. Those trails were not designed for ultimate speed so I assume they'll get pretty trashed. Especially if we have a bunch of rain before the race.

We were going to racing there...but decided this would be funner trails and closer for us!

I'm not really sure what is up with the website ( www.buduracing.com )...it's working sometimes and not others. Here is the flier for it.

Here is a little info my teammate got from an email she sent them...
"we will be on the SW side of the road. Sport will complete approximately 12-15 miles and expert will complete approximately 15-20 miles."
