photoshop, illustrator....

i am wondering if anyone can recommend any good books for an ultra noob when it comes to using photoshop, and illustrator.

i have the programs at home and i do not understand a lot of it. i dont understand the other windows, how to use the pen tool...etc.

please help...thanks!

There are a ton of photoshop tutorials online...I'm not sure about Illustrator though.

Those can show you how to do some cool stuff in photoshop. Or if you do a google for tutorials, I'm sure tons will come up.

As for a book, the only one that I've ever even tried to use is that book that Adobe puts out on how to use their stuff. I guess those would work for you, but it's cheaper to at least try these tutorials.
