Gemini vs. Gemini DH

I have an 04 Gemini 1000 ( with Boxxer race) and thinking of upgrading to an 05 Gemini DH. I ride east coast downhilling and light freeriding. Is theDH model ride much different and is it worth it to upgrade? thanks

i think the difference is the floating brake and the 12x150mm dropouts, i could be wrong though

diffrent geo as well... gemini Dh is slacker, longer chainstay etc.. so it is more DH than gemini...

12x150 w/o the floater 12x135 with the floater. 10mm more travel and yeah slightly slacker and longer geo making it better for DHing

My girlfriend has a IH Sunday that is "too" DH oriented for my likings. My Gemini is so much more fun to jump, drop and just flick around. IYOs is the Gemini DH's geometry as DH oriented as the a Sunday. Thanks again.

i race ec downhill on a regular gemini and it works great
so the gemini dh can onl be better

also the gemi dh has a 9.5x3.0 shock

making some rediculously low leverage ratio of 2.2 to 1 or somethin
