i have 9 speed xt casette and i dont know which chain should i use i was using hg93 but i heard that sram is more better and stronger..

so which one you recommend ?

Personally I use the Sram PC991 Hollow Pin. Been running the same chain for the last two seasons and its still going strong. Cant beat the Sram powerlink either.

I snapped my xt chain earlier this year and decided to go with sram, and i couldnt be happier with the 971. I would have gone with the 991 but the best my LBS had was the 971. I dont think ill ever go back to a shimano chain. In fact im considering switching my whole drivetrain to sram.

the powerlink is another nice feature that puts the shimano stuff way behind sram.

SRAM PC 991 9sp is a nice chain. and thats a good price for it. thats what i use on both my bikes.

sram is the only way to go. master links are prolly the most amazing thing ever, and there the weakest part of the chain so they will break before the rest of the links do. so carry an extra and you dont have to worry about chain problems ever again.
