bars and stems???

well im looking for a strong set-up for my bike, weight of componants is not an issue to me since my steelhead is around 35#'s. im kind of digging the kona line but the azonic line looks pretty good to me also........are there any other brands i should look at? im trying to keep this a trail friendly bike so what stem lenght and bar rise height should i look at (trying to get rid of 6-7 spacers the LBS added to make the current bar height like old bike)? my current bar rise is 30mm and my stem is about 90-100mm and 25deg rise i think.

I have been running Kona bars for the past two season, and have been bashing the hell out of them without a problem. If you want super duper strong bars, and dont care about weight, give Race-Face Diabolus a look. They are unbreakable.

I run the Diabolus bar & stem combo, no complaints in over two years. Lots of hard crashes, bars never bent or broke and they actually come in a few different lengths and rises now, too.

Race Face Diabolus are super strong. Even I haven't broken them yet, although a tree at Snowshoe bent the sh!t out of them last summer. That impact would have broken most bars. I destroyed a lot of parts last summer so it is saying something that the diabolus bars and stem stayed in one piece.

Love my Race Face Diabolus bars and stem also! Can't go wrong there! I just got a set of Deity bars, with a Diabolus stem for my STP today. The Deity bars are the ducks nutz!
