its 8.75 by 2.75. im positive on that i just got a dhx five for my 05 bighit.

The stock shox (vanilla r) is a 8.75x2.5. You can safely run a 8.75x2.75

the 8.75X2.5 e2e was only stock on the pre 2005 big hits. my 05 came stock with 8.75X2.75 vanillia r.

Sorry, but you are wrong. The 2005 was a 8.75x2.5.

Check the Specialized website.

If yours came with a 2.75 it wasnt stock.
