I may be heading to Denver to work for a while and may be looking to rent a room. I am a Conductor for a railroad, so I will probably only be in town 3-4 days per week but I don't really want to stay in hotels. I will only need it for maybe 30-60 days and possibly less than that. I would prefer it to be close to downtown as that is where the depot is and where I would report for work.
If anyone knows of anything or can make some recommendations, it would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I've been checking out craigslist. It seems like most people want a lease of some sort and I can't do that. I could be called to go somewhere else and have 48 hours to be there.

I could buy a van and sleep down by the river for $3000 a month.
