Just got a O4 Chappy frame (very sweet) and am having a BB problem.

I'm using an Evil SRS chainguide with an ISCG adapter and 68/118 BB. Non-drive side crank makes hard contact with the chainstay. Tried two different crank arms. Any suggestions??? :imstupid:

Not sure about what length bb, but I think you need the srs-w plate or a modified one slightly. contact support@e13components.com or check their website on the compatibility list. What spacers are you running with your bb?

Try without having any spacers on the drive side cup and see if the crankarms clear the non drive side chainstay.

It's a 68 BB, not a 68/73. No spacers.
Contacted Banshee, they recommended playing around with the spacer.

you are going to need a diff bb for sure man. you need a 68/73 by 118 if you are running a chainguide on those bikes and many times then you are not as well

Well, I tried a 68/73 x 118 BB with no spacer.
Didn't work.
I'm gonna try some Hussefelt cranks on there tonight and see if it's a crank problem.

yeah this whole thing is sounding a little fishy now seeing that the guilde you have and the BB you have i know are the right ones to work together. sound like to me that you either have wide offset cranks (yes these do exsist in the OEM world) you your cranks are bent.

also make sure that the hussies that you have are not the ones for the howizer bb because it will not work with an ISIS bb

Yeah, I'm gonna try another set of cranks tonight. I shall update.

It's fixed!! :clapping:

Funky crank design was the culprit.

oh i think i know that you mean by funny cranks design. i though you were talking about the cranks hitting more near the end of the cranks not right near the bb area on the swing are

Awesome glad it all came together for ya. Sweet looking bike.

Exactly. The crank was hitting solid on the swingarm by the BB.
Damn that was frustrating.
Thanks for all the help....I love you guys!!
Not in a weird way though. :)
