2nd year on the Imperial :thumb:

,just got a new rear tyre,Panaracer Fire DH Pro 2.3(not in pic),gave it some good testing today and im well impressed,seems to grip on anything without sliding at all,and soaks up everything nicely,ganna get one for the front,07 here i come.

I'm going to be riding my 2007 Yeti ASX I got early this year for FR/DH and I'm also going to be riding a 2007 Yeti DJ, which should be here in the next 2 weeks. The DJ pic I posted is from the Yeti site, but the components on mine will include:

I was thinking about a floater but to get it from Cannondale you need to get a new rear wheel. Stock it comes with a sweet Ringle 150mm. To run a floater or brake link you need a 135mm spaced hub and I just got the bike you know?

Fresh-built Fetish Cycles Obsession, built up single speed with a DJ 2 for park poaching.
Just bought an '06 Dirtbag frame ($699 from Transition with an '07 Swinger 4-way on it) which is going to get all the parts that fit off my '05 IH Yakuza Kumicho, Azonic Outlaws and Diabolus post and headset (which will make it a Diabolus/Saint/X.7 group with an '04 Jr T that seems to get better with age).
Picking up an '06 Coiler Deluxe in March for all mountain-y goodness.
Kona Smoke for commuting, strategic parts upgrades in progress with switch to XT/Deore shifting complete.

2-20 update: Dirtbag buildup is complete! No more IHs in my stable,woohoo!

i riding an 05 trek seesion with a few upgrades. dumped the stock fork for a travis sc 180 w/intrinsic damping. changed the cranks for some gravity's and added a blackspire stinger guide. other that it's stock.

Yep!!! I was glad to see they came on it. I think they just ran out of stock, and put these on to get it sent out or else somone jacked up! All the ones I've seen had the ones listed, not these!

The only things not stock on my bike are the Race Face bar and stem.

I can't wait to ride mine. Too much ice and sand still around to let loose on my streets yet but soon, Very soon. They changed the bottom bracket height and the chain stays from the last couple years. The bb is 1/4" higher and the chainstays are 15.75" now. The new STP's looks much better than they do on the Web site.

Did the one you rode have the Hussefelt cranks, or the Holzfeller cranks like mine? This is the only one I've seen that came w/ them on it. Not that I'm complaining!:biggrin:

I didnt notice what cranks it had to tell you the truth. It was at our shop for about a day. The kid that bought it was sooo stoked. I considered trying to get just the frame, but I just got a new Chris King headset and like the color. Haha. Maybe in the future.

the ruckus looks like it is begging for a non suspension corrected fork, or a short travel DJ fork....i like the MKIII's but no $$ to get one i'll be rocking the DB and my raleigh xc bike that is heavy...i need a different frame...

Not finished yet but i just wanted to take some pictures.
the color is even better in person. 2007 Pink BR, 2007 Talas 36R, 2007 Fox dhx 5.0, Avid Juicy 7's w/ Dangerboy Levers, white Deity Bars and seat soon to come (currently running the TBC stuff) Saint Cranks, E-13 DRS chain guide, Sram X-9 shifters and drive train. Crank Brothers 50/50 pedals and white TBC Revolution Wheels. i wanted to pimp the bike and i think its spot on.

2003 Trek Diesel (http://www.johnnyru.com/gallery/my%20bikes/trek_diesel.jpg) - It wont look this way for long. I just stripped the bike down to the frame. I am going to strip the paint and have it powdercoated. I've got some new components for it including a 200mm 888.

2005 Soul Cycles Monk (http://www.johnnyru.com/gallery/my%20bikes/DSCN2887.JPG) - This frame was designed for cyclocross, but I am using it for off season training with some tame off road riding.

2005 Soul Cycles Hooligan (http://www.johnnyru.com/gallery/my%20bikes/DSCN2877.JPG) - This singlespeed is probably the bike I ride the most. So simple and so much fun.

2005 Rocky Mountain Switch SL (http://www.johnnyru.com/gallery/my%20bikes/rm_switchsl.jpg) - This is my main trailbike. I am currently rebuilding this bike as well. Not sure what upgrades I am going to do on it yet.

'07 Transition Preston FR - Just built her up yesterday. Looking forward to years of abuse, but so far have only ridden her home. I wanted her to be a light trail bike that I can take on a 4cross course. Roco TST rear shock, Revelation 426 fork, Atomlab wheelset, X9 drivetrain, Gamut chainguide, shiny red Hope bits.

'01 Trek 4900 - My all-purpose beater bike. The trickle-down recipient of parts when I upgrade my 'good bikes', she's much nicer than she ought to be. Only the frame is stock. Psylo fork, Race Face XC BB/cranks, Thompson stem. To be honest, I've ridden her through six nasty winters without a complaint, so I gotta say she's a great bike.

I'll edit this once I aquire myself a real camera. Cheerz.

haha, i've actually gotten quite confident on the po-po bike since i've put on a shorter stem. it handles about like my P2 and even w/ all of my gear on i can still put it up on a wall and do some smaller stairgaps. it's gotten to where no one runs anymore after i've caught a few by flying down some stairs in the tight projects to snag some folk. :D

i don't have any single shots of lil manimal's rides but these will do.

he's finally big enough for his 16" haro to replace the beater yellow huffy that i modded out over a year ago.

haha, he's so low to the ground that i never even noticed that before. yeah, they'll definitely be coming off....and no, i don't have reflectors on anything other than my work bike....being a cop doesn't mean i like to look like a goon on my personal bikes ;)
