So I got media player 1000 or whatever...Now I can't convert all my audio sh!it to mp3's. yeah I was stupid like that. So now i'm in teh process of re-burning all my cd's.

Media players and ripping CDs? There are a million solutions. Hell, if you really need I'll send you a download link to a great ripper. Or follow Rob's suggestion. Or uninstall Win Media Player.
