Cause it was for the rear,i would shorten it but that would mean bleeding the thing?,and i got no bleeding gear.mtb_biker.
o well, time to search for another forum

I don't see anyone being mean here. Try not to be so sensitive.
I'm glad to see a bike that's actually dirty for a change, there's too many people who are more concerned about scratching their bike than having fun.
You'll probably not like most other forums out there as they seem to enjoy bashing riders for any reason they can find. So, welcome to ridemonkey, where most people are honest and might even know what they're talking about. Hope you enjoy it here

Yeah sarcasm is hard to depict online, but I didn't see anyone being mean either...just playful poking.
Regardless of what others say, just enjoy your rig and go ride.
No kidding man - lighten up. Nobody insulted you. Go check out Pinkbike if you want to deal with idiotic replies to a picture post.

why do you have the front brake running down through the steerer if you are running a dual crown? Just curious, that is a barspin setup...

Sorry all for being sensitive :twitch: ,i was just expecting a better welcome lol,and im not going to pinkbike lol,i would rather stay here and gain and pass info and make friends etc,

you asking me if ive got it through my steerer or saying its better to have it that way?,it aint going going trough the steerer if that is what your asking,?,its going down the front,i gotta sort it out so its not a target for getting ripped on a branch or something.
Thanks!

I love evils, I ride a doc myself, what year is that/generation?
Your cable is defiantly a potential hazard...Get rid of that asap, and get a bash ring instead of a 3rd ring.(guide as well if you want, E13 DRS would suit you well)
other than that lookin good man, where in england are you from?

Imps seem to be built either straight djer or straight gnarcore.
Looks good though, what are the wheels built up on there?

odds are, if you cut the hose, you won't have to rebleed. i say give it a shot. i've done it.

It's doable. Not likey, but it's doable. I know I've done it a few times, but you need to have the fittings when you cut it down obviously, but it can be tricky to get that tiny possible air bubble out of the line without having to bleed it.

i had a similar build on my old hardtail(Kona scab/super t), was definately a fun bike(hit 8-10' on it/ dj'd) but i like squishy rear ends. whats the rear tire? looks small for a bike that burly. i was limited on the kona with frame clearance but you have plenty on that bike!

The front is a Hope Bulb TI 20mm on a 321,the rear is an unknown rim on unknown hub lol,its only temporary untill my new rear wheel is built,DA Bomb headspin 10mm laced to a EX729.

Ive been looking at the E13 chainguide, will hopefully have one soon,i got a 36t bash on a 40t ring lol,i know thats bad but i dont have the right size crank bolts to just have the ring, got some on order tho,im from Nottingham.

Its a 1.9 Michelin ,getting replaced soon, its ok for trail's but as soon as you huck or do a bit of street or DH its scetchy and hurts the rear rim and have to take it a little easy lol,
Ive only just got the bike fully built with both brake's etc,its taken me a year to get it built up this much lol, still not finished yet as you can see,i had problem's with getting my rear brake on the frame for ages, and ended up giving in and sticking it on the front and getting a deore for the rear as i just needed to have 2 working brake's so i could ride the bike proply,to be honest ive only been riding in open area's away from the woods etc, because im paranoid about the cable getting ripped on something.
What would be the best way to go about getting the cable the right length?,i dont want to mess up the bleed as its a nice bleed and dont know if i will be able to get it bled this good again, but i can get my mate to help,it uses mineral oil which doesent attract air bubbles right?
Thanks
