NS conditions

How are the conditions on the Shore this year? How about Squamish?

yukky right now. the trails got sh1tkicked with the recent storms (lots of fallen tree carnage), not to mention snow. the good forest gnomes are hard at work clearing trails, however & things should be shaping up soon (baring more snowfall).

How are the NS trails now?

everything is open, though we've been getting lots of rain. the trails drain quickly, so are typically in good shape after a couple days of sun. most of the treefall carnage has been cleaned up so things are starting to look good.

rode fromme yesterday and seymour today... both in great shape. a little mucky on cbc.

i would avoid cypress for a little while longer--let it dry some more.

between them i would recommend fromme for now.

pssssshhh. i guess since im only in vancouver during the winter the idea of any of those trails being "too wet" is laughable to me. haha. skinnies are more challenging when they're wet! :biggrin:

cypress doesn't really have any skinnies.. maybe a couple...
