KC Star ran this article off the wire from Philly: http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/news/nation/15939133.htm

Realistic? Far-fetched? Wasn't secession deemed unconstitutional after the war of Northern Aggre....I mean the Civil War?

Dividing is dumb for two reasons:

1. We're heading into a global economy and nothing will stop it. Within 200 years, the planet will be unified, well, ya know, mostly.

B. We are divided states organized by a federal govt. If the Repubs would only do what they initially set out to do -- smaller, less intrusive govt. -- then the states could govern themselves without so much bullsh!t.

Hypocritical "small gov" repubs.

Sounds like they are frustraded at the USA..
They should go live in hot-dry desert place & see how they like that atmosphere .. Or teletubby land where everything is dandy..
