Mechanical, then some old dude gave me a sticker. I would have preferred a beer. How come polling locations don't set up a beer tents? That'd improve voter participation.

We use mail-ins here. I voted the day after I got mine (about 3 weeks ago).
<edit> I didn't vote for the poll for lack of option

Not here. Wandered into the polling place, filled out a piece of paper, showed my ID, waited about 2 minutes, voted, and then checked out some library books. :thumb:

In Cali, they have an optical scanner machine. You mark the ballot with a felt tipped pen, and the machine scans it.

I didn't vote :( I wanted to, but I forgot that since I registered in Whatcom County I moved to King, and didn't really feel like having the feds after my ass.

I thought he lived in the shanty town of Aurora? Right near that shopping mecca known as The Aurora Mall, where concealed weapons are encouraged.

Nope. I'm living out in the Southwestern slums of Littleton.

One of the complaints of our new system is lack of communication. We apparently went from 200 voting sites to 50 mega sites.
Two errors in wait times:
1. You could be in line for four hours at a known site (eg. Denver Police station), but if they communicated between each other, you'd know the next one over buried in a residential area had 10 minute waits.
B. If the whole system is computerized, how did no one think of posting wait times online?
