wheel side play?

Hi,
My rear wheel has a noticeable amount of side play when the wheel is firmly rocked side to side.This is not visually detectable,but can be felt by hand?.My front wheel has no such play.

Either your spokes arent loose then your hub needs to be adjusted. I'd say that its most likely the hub. I'd recommend going to a shop unless you are comfortable working on your own ride. You will need: cone wrench, adjustable wrench or 15 mm box, and an axle vise (axle vise optional but nmakes it SO much easier)

If the drive side lock nut is loose, then the cassette has to come off first.

Check the cones on your hub. Take it to you bike tech and have him fix it for you. 5 minute job, usually free.
