sweet! Just got my new ride built up today. 2006 Astrix Union. Sharp lookig bike if you ask me. Had 'er out for short XC/lite FR ride tonight soo far im very pleased with it. I had to taker easy as my breaks were a bit messed, got all that sorted out now thou.

Sweet, what's your gearing?

As shown its on a 32 X 17. I think I might change to a 32 X 19 thou, soo I can spint in to kickers with a bit more ease. Out trails are fairly tight soo I won't miss the top end on the 17.

I have a 42 -20 gearing on my dirtjumper.

their web site shows it at 69º but that probley with a smaller fork then I've got on it. Soo its probley around 67º or 68º

42-20 would be way to big for the tech shore riding thie bike will see. On my SX trail I usally hit most of our stunts in 36X32 or 36X20 soo that works out to an avrage of 43.7ish gear inches.

with my 32X17 on the Union im getting 48.9 - a bit much. If I toss on a 32X19 I'll get 43.7 right on, soo it will feel the same as my big bike to pedal in to stunts.
