Lots of climbing and mud as I recall...I didn't go this year, but that's what all the reports said.

I'd like to do Killington just becasue it's so close for me, but at that price forget it!! I might try to do Pat's Peak solo and then do Churn & Burn with the team again. :)

I hate to say its a lot of climbing !! but not as much mud as Ashford.
but look at it this way . do a 2 person co-ed 12 hour., that would garuentee you a podium , there was only one entree this year. Tell kevin and Racheal that could be interesting.

yup, PP it is!
PP is a short course
5 miles and under 40 minutes/lap in nasty conditions
you basically go up, and then come down..yup that means climbing is involved but the climbs are not bad - I actually liked the climbs being it meant you were out of the mud. And the last section of DH is so, so nice, smoth, twisty, fast...real good stuff!
note:last years mud ->they broke all sorts of records for most rain ever before the race
note2: plus there's options @ PP:24, 12 or 6 hour

note3: Pats Peak beat me bad 2 years in a row, not because I was out of shape or because of the climb, but it was the heat&humidity...I think I'm gonna start hydrating today
