Yesterday i went into NYC to get some new glass and just have some fun with my friend. After searching for a parking spot for a while, i finally found one. Put some change in the meter and we were off.

Come back to my car and theres a 65 dollar ticket for a timed out meter.

So, any one know if im actually going to have to pay this crap? I have a CT plate and dont plan on going back into NYC any time soon. But i did get some new tempered glass... :pirate2:

No need to pay, the only thing you have to worry about is getting pulled over in NY years from now, then they may and i doubt they will have a bench warrent issued to you.

Will you be my friend now that i saved you 65 dills?

Pay it. It's too much of a pain in the ass if you forget or have to go someplace and get picked up.

contest it. look for any discrepancies on the ticket such as make, model of car, address, time. etc. NYC is notorious for giving bogus tickets. (parking in the east village for 2 years).
