im planning to buy a new bike :biggrin: dont have alot of money:banghead: so i am currently looking at

ok. hmm.. I haven't really heard anything about those 2 bikes.. but around how much are you willing to spend? and you should also check out the norco website, they have some good ones, for not tooo much money.

i just looked at the site i would equate those bikes to walmarts selection....do what u must...the motocycles looked like what u would find at pep boys (an auto parts store)

Aight. When you say "downhill", do you mean rocky and rooty with 2-3 foot drops?? Or just going down a grassy hill? Also, "jumping" as in 3-4 foot kickers?

I ask because, from the Atomik website you linked, the bike looks more like one that you'd putter around on a paved trail or gravel road. No problem with that at all, but if you intend on doing anything close to a 'yes' answer to my question on dirt jumping that bike probably won't last very long.

Put up a little more info (height, weight, age, etc.) so we can get a better overall picture.

Definately check out Norco. I'm not sure what the Atomik price is, but some Norco's could be in that price range.

Turned Out I didn't buy any of those bikes I bought a Norco Wolverine and am very happy with my purchase thanks for your input but turns out i didnt need it.
