Just wanted to post this for all. Please come out and help!!!

Put it on your calendar, put it on your friend’s calendar, put in on the dry erase board at school, put it on the bulletin board at work…….

Paris Mountain State Park Trail Meeting
6pm Carolina Triathlon 633 S. Main St. Greenville.

At the meeting you’ll learn about:

· The scope of the RTP trail grant that we are applying for
· How to become involved in the Trail Steward Program
· Extended park hours
· Soon to be open hike-in campsites
· Open forum to let us know how we are doing and how we can do better

The only reason we have new trails at Paris Mountain State Park is because of the RTP grant that we have won for the last 3 years in a row. A requirement of the grant is that we hold a public meeting and record the names of those in attendance. Each year it gets harder for us to get the funding since we have had it in the past, but if we continue to show overwhelming community support for trails at Paris Mountain State Park the better the opportunity for continued funding of the trail crew.

The meeting will be short and sweet. We will be giving a brief presentation every 20 minutes from 6pm to 8pm, so come when you can and remember to bring everyone you know to sign the attendance sheet.

Thank you for the support,

Ty Houck
Park Manager

Can't you just bring along a list of names? Hell you can probably get a ton of people from this site alone to "sign" something via the internet.

I'm going to try to make it down there, but can't promise or say when. Go ahead and forge my name as well.
