Hey guys,

We are looking for a 4th member for a sport team for the upcoming 12 hours of the hill of truth race (Haw Ridge Park, Oak Ridge, TN).

For those not familiar, Haw Ridge is a blast to ride and has a wide variety from rock gardens to rooty/twisty single track to smooth fast singletrack. The course is about 8.6 miles and we've been doing practice laps around 50 minutes. There are 3 decent size climbs on the course, total elevation gain is just under 1000 feet per lap. It's a laid back, well run event. (Big bonfire, Huffy jump contest, etc..)

Good lights (HID) are a necessity, but we have some you can borrow if you need to. The rest of the team is all around 30 and are compentent sport level riders. We're hoping to be competitive but mainly just out to have a good time. Camping is available right at the start for free on a first come first serve basis. Shoot me an email or call if you're interested. We can probably cover your registration fee to make up for gas money if you have to drive a ways to get there.

well.
considering that this is a forum filled with mostly,
downhill riders.
freeriders and dirtjumpers.
it's not surprising.

oh no way.

i was just saying that the majority of readers here aren't the x-c type.
i would think that he'd have better luck on the local site here in town.

that race is a damn good time.
but solo is where it's at.
